Function Theories in Higher DimensionsTampere University of Technology, Finland, will be hosting the conference on Function Theories in Higher Dimensions to be held on June 12-16, 2006. The topics of the conference will include:
Before the conference June 9-10 there will be a preliminary seminar intended for advanced undergraduate students,
graduate students, post-docs, researchers and teachers interested in the field of geometric or Clifford algebras.
Richard Delanghe (University of Ghent, Belgium) Klaus Guerlebeck (Bauhaus-University, Weimar, Germany) Vladislav Kravchenko (Institutio Politécnico Nacional, Mexico) Sirkka-Liisa Eriksson (Tampere University of Technology) and Heinz Leutwiler (Universität, Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany) Alan McIntosh (Australian National University, Australia) Tao Qian (University of Macau, Macao, China) John Ryan (University of Arkansas, U.S.A) Vladimir Soucek (Charles University, Praha, Czech Republic) In addition to plenary speakers there will be invited and contributed 25 minute talks. The conference is organized as a part of the Finnish Mathematical Society's (FMS) visitor program 2005-2006. Topic for this program is Function spaces and differential equations. The program consists of visits by foreign mathematicians to Finland, and of conferences and seminars in various Finnish universities during the academic year 2005-2006. More information about the visitor program can be found from the program's home page. There will be a conference proceedings. All papers will be reviewed.
