MAT-33506 Differential equations (spring 2012)
Suomenkielinen kurssisivu: MAT-33500 Differentiaaliyhtälöt
Lectures are given in Finnish by Dr Pasi Raumonen and FL Matti Viikinkoski. However, it is possible to pass the course using material in English as explained below.
The lecturers are available for questions after lectures in office TD322/324.

Assistant: Lassi Paunonen TD319
You can earn credit points from exercises by appearing in the session and indicating which problems you have solved. The assistant may ask you to present some of your solutions on the blackboard.
Solving at least 80% of the problems gives maximum credit.

If the combination of exam and exercise activity gives better grade than the exam alone, the better grade is recorded for the student.
The course follows the book M. Hirsch, S. Smale & R. Devaney: Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems and an Introduction to Chaos,
ISBN 0123497035, Academic Press 2002. (Chapters 1-7/8).
