Lectures
Lectures are given in Finnish by Dr Pasi Raumonen and FL Matti Viikinkoski. However, it is possible to pass the course using material in English as explained below.
The lecturers are available for questions after lectures in office TD322/324.
Weekly exercises

You can earn credit points from exercises by appearing in the session and indicating which problems you have solved. The assistant may ask you to present some of your solutions on the blackboard.
Solving at least 80% of the problems gives maximum credit.

2nd set of problems
The book chapters 3.1-3.4
3rd set of problems
The book chapters 4.1 and 6.4
4th set of problems
The book chapters 6.1 and 6.3-6.5
5th set of problems
The book chapters 7.1-7.4, 8.1, 9.1
Exam
The exam gives at most 32 points, and exercises at most 8 points.
If the combination of exam and exercise activity gives better grade than the exam alone, the better grade is recorded for the student.
