Description: The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. W3C is a forum for information, commerce, communication and collective understanding.

The mission of regional offices is to promote adoption of W3C recommendations among developers, application builders and standards setters, and to encourage inclusion of stakeholder organizations in the creation of future recommendations by joining W3C.
