Operating Models for a Managed Logging Process
-DVD video

The ProForSim -project has created "The Operating Models for a Managed Logging Process" -DVD videos in Finnish and in English. It is the first possibility to purchase the videos in this seminar. The price is 20 €/ one video. This price includes VAT.
The operating models illustrating the implementation of a managed logging process present the fundamentals and main concepts of mechanised logging. The video clips are suitable for studying the planning involved in mechanised logging, its management, quality, execution and work safety assisted by simulator sessions and practical training in the forest operating a real-life harvester. They can also be made use of when evaluating competence and when providing feedback. A lot of research knowledge concerning the competence of experienced drivers has been included in the operating models. The operating models can be applied and deepened as the operator’s competence improves. Take due note of work safety factors when practising.

These videos (60 clips, one to eight minutes) includes impartially the Ponsse's, Timberjack's and Valmet's simulators or harvesters. Choose the language and the volume in the registration form. So the videos are available in the seminar.
