Victor

VICTOR is a Web-based multi-user video annotation tool which allows adding time sensitive comments to practically any web video clip. The main idea behind VICTOR is to provide user-friendly and easily accessible tool to enrich web video usage with text comments and references to other media contents. Video clips are either uploaded to VICTOR server with web browser or they are linked from other servers, from normal web servers or from streaming media servers. All major streaming formats are supported: Flash Video, Quicktime, RealMedia and WindowsMedia. To view and annotate videos in VICTOR user needs only web browser and suitable media player.

In addition to annotation VICTOR is intended to be used as an exercise platform. Teachers can produce exercises related to provided video content. Students answer to questions by marking video clip with timed comments and then return their answers to teacher. VICTOR includes also evaluation tools.
